Simon Cowell’s extensive use of Botox and fillers has left him with a permanently ‘sad’ facial expression, while Madonna’s ‘creasing eyelids’ show her age, 광주 성형외과 cosmetic surgery experts have claimed in a new Channel 5 show.

The A-listers’ years of cosmetic work will be examined during Celebrities: What’s Happened to Your Face?

on Thursday, with experts comparing photographs from the past two decades and weighing up the impact of natural ageing versus enhancement.

Music mogul Simon, 61, who previously joked about ‘using too much Botox’, is said to have suffered some ‘volume loss in his forehead’, which has caused his appearance to change.

Dr Sarah Tonks, from The Lovely Clinic, says on the show: ‘Now it looks like an attempt has been made to soften the wrinkles and lines around his eyes.

The two things together here have given this really sad appearance.’

The experts also suggest Madonna, 62, has used ‘too much’ filler in her cheeks to help maintain a ‘youthful lift’ – although cosmetic surgeon Mr Alex Karidis insists the pop princess’ ‘crepey eyelids unfortunately portray her actual age’.

Mr Karidis explained: ‘You can see that the skin at the top of the eyelid is very, very crepey like.

‘You can fill up the cheeks, you can lift up the jawline, you can fill up the neckline but if the skin around the eyes is looking a little crepey and creasing that’s going to portray your age unfortunately.

‘The likelihood and probability that Madonna has had some surgery is very high because unquestionably once you get over 50, 광주 성형외과 no amount of non surgical treatments is actually going to reverse some of the sagging and laxity that comes on naturally.’

Several of the experts interviewed commented on the singer’s wrinkle-free forehead, claiming that it couldn’t have happened naturally – despite Madonna previously saying she isn’t keen on cosmetic procedures.

Cosmetic doctor Dr Zoya Diwan commented on Madonna’s 2018 appearance to the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, compared to her earlier looks.

‘She’s putting more and more filler in her cheek to help maintain that lift,’ claimed the doctor.

‘But you can see actually that these folds are getting deeper and she’s trying to fill that more to prevent them sagging down.

‘And I think that essentially is making her look a little too filled in that region.’

They praised the contouring of her face and 광주 성형외과 suggested that her flawless skin could’ve been down to cosmetic surgeons at the top of their field.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell’s looks were also called into question, with Dr Sarah Tonks suggesting his ‘tweakments’ have given him a ‘permanently sad’ look.

‘He’s got some volume loss in his forehead on both sides which is not helping his brow position because the bigger your volume loss in your forehead, the lower your brows will be. At 46 there’s not a line on his forehead.

Not one line,’ she said.

‘He’s either had a very stress-free life or there’s some Botox in there. Maybe he’s had filler in the jawline, maybe he’s had his face lifted at this point. After keeping up the Botox jabs, by 2012 his eyebrows have started drooping.’

Leading surgeon Dr Alex Karidis claims the X Factor star began to age naturally in his mid-thirties, before suspecting he ‘overdid’ his treatments to combat ‘natural sagging in his cheeks’. MailOnline has contacted Simon’s representatives for further comment.

Cowell is also estimated to have spent up to £50,000 on his ‘ultra bright’ Hollywood smile, with veneers that one expert are ‘probably off the whitening scale’.

‘On average veneers tend to only last seven to 10 years as they are susceptible to damage and discolouration, and I suspect he may have had several sets over the years, costing anything from £650 to £1000 per tooth.

‘So he could have spent upwards of £50,000 on his teeth over the years, depending on how many sets he’s had.’

Dr Nyla Raja, leading cosmetic doctor who has treated Simon’s friend Mel B, echoed the comments as she previously told MailOnline she believes the businessman has been left with a ‘drooping face’.

The health expert said: ‘Men also go through hormonal changes leading to a lack of collagenesis in the skin. Unfortunately when we lose weight the fatty tissue is also depleted from the face, leading one to look more drawn.

‘He’s not got the right people around him saying that’s enough. I often refuse clients if they want to go overboard with cosmetic treatments – I just want clients to look and feel like the best version of themselves in the safest possible way.’

She added: ‘Simon’s fallen face and “sunken” eyes are a result of treatments being advised to him, leading to the facial muscles starting to drop around the eye area.

‘I believe Simon should step away from cosmetic treatments for a while and try focusing on non-surgical treatments to lift and tighten the sagging skin.

‘I am a huge advocate of using a combination of non-invasive treatments such as ultrasound technology to lift the skin at its deepest level and radiofrequency to tighten the skin.

‘To revitalise the entire face I recommend an Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial as it is an effective, non-invasive way to enhance and restore the quality of your skin which may be affected by your lifestyle or as you age – or in Simon’s case – too many procedures!
